P R E F A C E: (for my second book, "A Token of Love and fourteen other stories to fuel your mind.)
These stories in, "A Token of Love and fourteen other stories to fuel your mind," I wrote were originally feature film screenplays, and a couple of them were shorts, and ‘The Paramedic’ was originally written as a teleplay to be part one of a ten-episode miniseries. I completed the screenplay, ‘Vegas,’ now named ‘A Token of Love,’ in April of 1994 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. At that time, I had absolutely no idea how to write a screenplay. But after years of teaching myself how to properly write a script, I’d say I’m pretty damn good at it. I write more about my passion for screenwriting in my book, "Hollow," the true story of the life of Michael Dane Sellstedt. Many of the situations in several of these stories I have written are from true life experiences, especially; specifically, "A Token of Love."
It took me over thirty years to write the Final Draft screenplay, "A Token of Love." It went from the first draft which was nearly five hundred pages long to what it is today. A beautiful script and an even better story!
